Editorial policy
Useful information, with a visible standard behind it.
Our journal is designed to help owners understand practical identity, documentation, and ownership topics—not to replace professional advice.
What we publish
We publish practical explainers about horse identity, documents, ownership processes, product use, and adjacent care administration.
We do not publish unsupported health, legal, insurance, or welfare claims. Country-specific guidance identifies the jurisdiction it applies to.
Sources, authors, and review
Substantive articles show the author, publication date, last-reviewed date, and the sources used. Where specialist judgment is important, an expert reviewer is named.
Sources should be primary, official, or professionally authoritative whenever available. Commercial relationships do not change the evidentiary standard.
Automation and human responsibility
Automation may help create a draft or organize source material. Automated systems cannot publish directly.
Generated drafts record provenance, language, source material, review status, and unresolved warnings. A human editor remains responsible for approval and publication.
Translations and updates
English and Dutch articles are linked through a shared translation identity but are reviewed as distinct published documents.
We update content when facts, product behavior, or relevant rules change. Material corrections follow our corrections policy.
