No. Ownmyhorse is a private digital record for identity, documentation, and ownership workflows. Official passport, studbook, and statutory registrations remain separate and must still be kept up to date.
What happens to documents after a horse is sold?
Documents stay linked to the horse’s record. Access is controlled: a seller can share selected documents read-only during a pending transfer, and ownership access changes when the buyer accepts.
Can a horse have more than one owner?
Yes. Ownmyhorse supports co-ownership shares and authorized agents. Sensitive actions can require approval from the appropriate owners.
Can I use Ownmyhorse in Dutch?
Yes. The application and this website support English and Dutch, with additional application languages planned or available as the product develops.
